Job Description:
The University of Kent's Centre for Health Service Studies is seeking a full-time Research Associate to join the NIHR-funded LEAP project, focusing on improving LGBTQ+ inclusion in home care for older people. The role involves conducting mixed-methods research, including a scoping review, supporting a large-scale survey, and carrying out in-depth interviews. The successful candidate will engage with care sector and LGBTQ+ stakeholder organisations, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and support dissemination of research findings. Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline, knowledge or experience with the care sector or LGBTQ+ organisations, and strong data analysis skills. The fixed-term contract runs until 31 August 2027, with a salary of £38,205 to £42,978 per annum (Grade 7).
