Job Description:
Workers are needed for seasonal picking of vegetables and fruits in greenhouses in Portsmouth, England. The role involves harvesting, sorting, and packing a variety of seasonal produce according to instructions and schedules. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness and organization at the workplace, and following storage and sanitation standards. No experience or English is required, but physical stamina, accuracy, and teamwork skills are necessary. The schedule is 6 days a week, 8–10 hours per day, with a 20% pay increase for overtime beyond 10 hours. The hourly wage is from £18.9 net, paid weekly. Free accommodation is provided (you pay only utilities), and a company car is available for shopping. Weekly farm produce is given for free; other food is self-catered. Both men and women are welcome, and a work visa is provided.
