Job Description:
The CRUK Scotland Institute in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Scientific Officer to support and contribute to cutting-edge research on the tumour immune microenvironment and its role in lung cancer progression. Working within Dr Leo Carlinās laboratory, the successful candidate will focus on identifying predictive biomarkers through translational science in collaboration with Dr Ximena Raffo. This role is ideal for candidates with a PhD or equivalent experience in biomedical sciences, cancer biology, or bioinformatics, especially those with skills in omics data analysis. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and publication experience are expected. This is a fixed-term, full-time position for up to 18 months covering maternity leave.
